Here is a short film scene for a project I worked on at NSCAD.

June 26th, 2009:

There are new additions to the articles and gallery section. The website has been rewritten in some parts as well so that everything is more properly spaced out.

April 17th, 2009:

A new demo reel has been added to the film directory. As for video updates, nothing in the works at the moment. I'm finishing up the first year of NSCAD University and there may be some more non-film additions to the site in the future.

December 12th, 2008:

There is also a new film in the directory, called "Snacks". As you may have noticed, the website has undergone an overhaul.

March 17th, 2008:

"Backfire" a five minute short film produced by Tomchuk Films will be screened during the 2nd Annual Halifax Independent Filmmakers Festival. It includes my friends Steven Richard and Colin Brunt. It will be a great night with many Nova Scotia filmmakers.

17th Annual Best of NS Screening

January 31st, 2008:

"In September 2007 the Atlantic Film Festival took 10 of the hottest Indie bands, paired them up with 10 up-and-coming young filmmakers, and gave them four days to shoot, edit and create the ultimate music video. The result was 10 inspired and original music videos featuring songs from Hey Rosetta!, i see rowboats, The Superfantastics and more. Come see them for yourself at the ECMA screening of the 10x10 Music Videos." - Music & Image, Atlantic Film. This screening will include the music video created by Mark Bragg and I.

Thursday, February 7th - 5:45 - 7:00 PM
Governors Ballroom / Members Lounge, Delta Fredericton

January 15th, 2008:

My demo reel for 2007 is now available in the film directory.

December 7th, 2007:

Icin Furgor has been submitted to several film festivals within Canada and internationally. It's a deviant film, and the results may be disquieting.

It may not be available online until the spring. More news to come in the new year.

September 22nd, 2007:

The music video for the 10X10 program is complete. I was paired up with Mark Bragg, a musician from Newfoundland to create a music video in 2-3 days. The premier has passed but a second screening will be at the closing gala of the Atlantic Film Festival at the Marquee Club. Check the film directory for links to the video.

September 15th, 2007:

The Seahorse Tavern will be screening a music video I directed along with nine other music videos by local filmmakers and musicians. Norwood Cheek from Los Angeles and director of over 70 music videos will be working with us.

Atlantic Film Festival Inspired Music Screening: 10 X 10
Seahorse Tavern / $10 / 8:00PM

In other news, Icin Furgor is currently in post production and should be released soon.

August 10th, 2007:

The next film in production is 'Icin Furgor'. Here are some stills from the short film and a trailer.

(Image gallery no longer available.)

By the way the trailer says the name of the film is 'Icin' but it has been changed to 'Icin Furgor'. Also the trailer is ridiculous and does not include footage from the actual film.

May 21st, 2007:

All new videos have been restored to the directory.

April 23rd, 2007:

Both Children Purple and The Canadian Bistro Division have been accepted in the Viewfinders Movie and Animation Challenge. The event will take place at Empire Theatres, Bayers Lake.

Animation Challenge: Wed., April 25th - 7:00 PM
Movie Challenge: Thu., April 26th - 7:00 PM

Call the box office to reserve tickets.

March 30th, 2007:

The Canadian Bistro Division and Children Purple have been submitted to the Viewfinders Film Festival, I now wait to see if they have made it.

My friends Patrick and Julien from 'Carl' have submitted their own video about robots, can't remember the name. Look out for it in the festival this year.

May 4th, 2007:

I've been to India and have lots of video files. Working on an animation for Viewfinders.

August 30th, 2006:

Here is the new video titled The Canadian Bistro Division. It doens't make sense, but it was intentional. The next thing I make will have a decent script. The video can be found in the directory.

August 10th, 2006:

A new short film is in the works. It will be approximately three minutes long. It will be entered into an online contest called the DV challenge. We have one week to complete the short video, so it should be posted on this website soon. The theme, from the contest is 'The Sun', don't count on it making sense.

May 31st, 2006:

Download available for Carl. Check the films directory.

April 30th, 2006:

The Festival was fun. They played 'Carl' with 'Voting and You' which I made for them to explain how to vote. I think the audience enjoyed both. Carl didn't take home any awards but it is satisfying enough to say that it made it into the top 10 of over 30 entries.

Most likely I will submit again next year. I will be visiting India for a month, so perhaps I can spend some time to shoot there for a future film.

April 11th, 2006:

For the third year in a row, I will have a film that will be screened in the Viewfinders International Film Festival for Youth. It will be held in the Oxford Theatre on Quinpool Road, Halifax. The date is April 21st, the doors open at 6:00, but the event starts at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $8.00 each. Be sure to bring a friend.

Carl, the film I created along with two of my friends, Patrick Bryden and Julien Wallot-Beale, will be screened along with 9 other short films. Prizes range from up to $1000, and on top of that, there are certain scholarships.

March 24th, 2006:

The films are online and ready to be downloaded. More mirrors will be avaialable in the future but for now they are at least acessable.

The Viewfinders Movie Challenge has received Carl and it is waiting to be preview in their office once the deadline is past. I created a voting video for them to explain how to vote at the festival this year. They loved it and I am very pleased, they will be using it at the festival.

Carl unfortunatly didn't make it into the Canadian National Youth Film Festival in Ottawa this year, but I will try again next time. "His Mind's Account" was chosen to be screened last year.

Currently I am working on the "Pitch", a sort of contest/learning experience for Viewfinders with a few friends, the deadline for that is April 7th. As well, I am in the process of putting together an animation much like "The Hotdog Man". This project may or may not be finished so I won't post any more information about it until I have made up my mind about it.

March 4th, 2006:

The website is up, but it isn't finished. I am going to upload the important films so that they are available to download. Carl, the latest film I worked on has been submitted to the Canadian National Youth Film festival based in Ottawa and won't be released to the public until after April. Carl will also be submitted to the Viewfinders International Film Festival for Youth's Movie Challenge.
